Nadra Bank Processing Center

In large payment systems, acquirer banks often enter into agreements and delegate technical functions to service organizations known as processing centers. In 2006, NADRA BANK completed certification of its own in-house processing and EMV-acquiring center in the international payment system Visa International. This project is based on TranzWare Online and TranzWare Retail, software products from CompassPlus (Russia). This made it technically possible for the Bank to provide higher quality service to its customers, directly interacting with the payment system when processing payment transactions and servicing EMV payment cards in its own acquiring network.

The decision to set up a processing center was conditioned by increased volumes of issued payment cards, a large number of customers, multitude of card business lines of the Bank, as well as our sound experience on the payment card market.

The corporate processing center is yet another solid step forward of NADRA BANKА, which is one of the leading operators of Ukraine’s payment card market, on the way towards a modern, large-scale, efficient and dynamic customer service structure in the payment card area. We have become one of the few Ukrainian banks which have their own processing center, a move promising a new higher level of customer service, increased response, convenience and flexibility of card based payments.

The processing center authorizes card payments 24 hours a day, prepares summaries for mutual payment clearing and settlements between the banks-payment system members, as well as makes and sends card stop-lists to traders. To perform these functions, the processing center maintains its own database of card holders and payment system members.
